Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing central defender Ben White at the start of 2020.
The 22-year-old is contracted to Brighton & Hove Albion but is currently on loan at Leeds United, where he has put in a string of impressive performances during the 2019-20 campaign.
White has not missed a single minute of his loan side's Championship season to date, and it has been reported that Manchester United and Liverpool are both monitoring the defender.
According to The Sun, Chelsea, having had their FIFA-imposed transfer suspension lifted, are also now targeting a move for the Englishman, who is said to be valued by Brighton in the region of £25m.
The report adds that scouts from Frank Lampard's side have recommended that the club make a move for the former Southampton youngster.
White has only made two first-team appearances for Brighton and spent the second half of the 2018-19 season on loan with League One outfit Peterborough United.
