Nicolas Anelka believes that Didier Drogba will be joining him at Shanghai Shenhua at the end of the season.

Nicolas Anelka is confident that he will reunite with his former Chelsea teammate Didier Drogba this summer.

The French striker has claimed that the Blues frontman will move to Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua if "all goes well" in negotiations.

"Yes I am frequently in contact with him," BBC Sport quotes Anelka as saying. "I think Drogba should be joining us, if all goes well, but that is not my position to announce."

The Ivory Coast international has been constantly linked with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge following his failure to secure an extension with the former Premier League champions.
