Team News: Loic Remy leads the line for Chelsea

Loic Remy is picked to lead the line for Chelsea as they welcome West Ham United to the Bridge.

Loic Remy has been picked to lead the line for Chelsea as they welcome West Ham United to Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

The change is one of four from interim manager Guus Hiddink from the side that drew 1-1 with Stoke City in the league earlier this month, with Bertrand Traore dropping to the bench as Remy makes a rare start.

John Terry returns to the defence alongside Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic and Cesar Azpilicueta, with Baba Rahman the man to make way.

Diego Costa is suspended following his red card at Everton in the FA Cup a week ago while Eden Hazard is still out with a hip complaint, prompting Hiddink to change things up in the middle of the park.

Cesc Fabregas displaces Nemanja Matic in a defensive midfield role and Kenedy is in for Hazard alongside Oscar and Willian as a three-pronged support for Remy.

For the visiting Hammers, there are three changes from the side that claimed a 3-2 victory over Everton in the league on March 5.

Reece Oxford drops out of the back four in favour of Winston Reid, who manages to start despite limping off with a hamstring injury in the FA Cup draw with Manchester United last weekend.

Emmanuel Emenike is named among the substitutes in favour of Diafra Sakho, who will lead the line after finding the net in the come-from-behind victory against the Toffees.

The other change sees Pedro Obiang make way for Enner Valencia behind Sakho.

Meanwhile, young defender Sam Byram had been expected to feature in today's squad after returning to fitness but was ruled out of the matchday squad due to a "slight knock" picked up in training.

Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Mikel, Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Kenedy; Remy
Subs: Begovic, Baba, Matic, Loftus-Cheek, Pedro, Traore, Pato

West Ham United: Adrian; Antonio, Reid, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Kouyate, Noble, Lanzini, Payet, Valencia; Sakho
Subs: Randolph, Oxford, O'Brien, Obiang, Song, Emenike, Carroll
