Team News: Pedro makes home debut in Crystal Palace visit

Pedro is named in Chelsea's first XI for the visit of Crystal Palace as his Stamford Bridge debut awaits.

Chelsea new boy Pedro has been named in this afternoon's first XI for the visit of Crystal Palace as his Stamford Bridge debut awaits.

The ex-Barcelona forward scored on his bow in last week's 3-2 win at West Bromwich Albion for what was the Blues' first victory of the season.

Jose Mourinho makes one change from that triumph as captain John Terry - who was sent off at The Hawthorns - drops out for Kurt Zouma in defence.

Likewise, Palace boss Alan Pardew also makes one change to his side from their late 2-1 win over Aston Villa last time out, with Connor Wickham replacing striker Glen Murray.

Grief-stricken Yannick Bolasie missed the visit of Villa following the death of his father, but he returns to the squad this afternoon and makes the bench.

Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic (c), Cahill, Zouma, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Pedro, Willian, Hazard; Diego Costa

Crystal Palace: McCarthy, Ward, Dann, Delaney (c), Souare, McArthur, Cabaye, Zaha, Puncheon, Sako, Wickham
