Defenders Federico Fernandez and Kyle Bartley are sidelined for Swansea City's Premier League home clash against Chelsea.

Swansea City boss Carlos Carvalhal has found himself without Federico Fernandez and Kyle Bartley for Saturday's Premier League home game against Chelsea.

The defensive duo were doubts this week and scans have confirmed that they have suffered knee injuries, ruling them out of the clash against last season's champions.

Carvalhal has made two changes from the side that were beaten 5-0 by Manchester City last Sunday, with Tom Carroll on the bench.

In come Connor Roberts and Sam Clucas, while Renato Sanches returns to the matchday squad for the first time since the end of January after a hamstring problem.

Antonio Conte also makes two changes for the trip to South Wales following their 2-1 win against Southampton in the FA Cup semi-finals last weekend.

Thibaut Courtois is back in goal for Willy Caballero, while Willian drops to the bench and Tiemoue Bakayoko comes into the starting XI.

Swansea City: Fabianski; Naughton, Van der Hoorn, Mawson, Olsson, Roberts; Ki, Clucas, King, J. Ayew; A. Ayew
Subs: Nordfelt, Britton, Dyer, Carroll, Routledge, Rangel, Sanches

Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Cahill, Rudiger; Moses, Bakayoko, Kante, Fabregas, Emerson; Hazard, Giroud
Subs: Caballero, Christensen, Zappacosta, Barkley, Pedro, Willian, Morata
