Chelsea are reportedly considering sacking manager Jose Mourinho, and replacing the Portuguese with Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone.

The Premier League champions have made a slow start to the season, and currently sit 16th in the Premier League table with just eight points from their opening eight matches.

According to The Mirror, the West London club could pay the Spanish side £15m to take the former Argentina international to Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho was given a vote of confidence by the club's board last week, following his side's 3-1 defeat by Southampton.
