Roman Abramovich is reportedly ready to sack Antonio Conte after growing irritated by the Italian's public comments, with Paris Saint-Germain monitoring the situation.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly growing increasingly frustrated by Antonio Conte's transfer claims and is ready to pull the plug at the end of the season.

Conte has taken a number of swipes at his superiors in the last two transfer windows after supposedly missing out on a number of his top targets.

The former Juventus and Italy manager also hinted again this week that the Blues' most recent signings had nothing to do with him which, according to the Daily Star, has left Abramovich feeling irritated.

Following the Premier League champions' midweek EFL Cup exit at the hands of Arsenal, and their title hopes already as good as over, the Russian billionaire is apparently in the process of lining up replacement managers.

Abramovich could even swing the axe as early as this weekend if Chelsea lose at home to Newcastle United in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The same report indicates that Conte would be handed a swift return to club management with Paris Saint-Germain, though, as the Parisians are closely monitoring his uncertain future at Stamford Bridge.
