How Chelsea could line up against Sheffield United

Sports Mole looks at how Chelsea could line up against Sheffield United in Sunday's Premier League clash.

Chelsea head to Sheffield United on Sunday evening aiming to extend their unbeaten start under boss Thomas Tuchel.

The Blues have drawn one and won two of their their Premier League games since the German replaced Frank Lampard last month.

However, three days on from overcoming London rivals Tottenham Hotspur 1-0, Tuchel may be tempted to make some changes to his side to freshen things up.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Chelsea could line up at Bramall Lane against the division's bottom side.

Possible CHEXI vs. SHEFFU

Doubtful: Thiago Silva (thigh), Kai Havertz (knock), Kurt Zouma (knock)

Tuchel has favoured a five-man defence so far, with Marcos Alonso being brought in from the cold and Cesar Azpilicueta also being reinstated as a regular.

However, Thiago Silva pulled up against Tottenham and seems certain to miss this one, so Tuchel will have to make at least one change at the back.

Andreas Christensen replaced Silva at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and is the favourite to get the nod here, especially with Kurt Zouma nursing a minor injury of his own.

Kai Havertz is the Blues' other fitness doubt after sustaining a knock in training on Wednesday.

Against the Premier League's bottom team, Tuchel may take the opportunity to rotate his side, with the likes of N'Golo Kante, Ben Chilwell, Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech all pushing for recalls.

Abraham has scored four league goals in four appearances against Sheffield United, though all those goals have been scored in home games.
