John Terry: Diego Costa was "different class"

Chelsea captain John Terry described striker Diego Costa as "different class" after the Spaniard scored against Burnley on his Premier League debut.

John Terry has described new Chelsea striker Diego Costa as "different class" following his debut in the Premier League this evening.

The Spaniard, who joined the Blues from Atletico Madrid earlier this summer, scored the first of the visitors' goals in their 3-1 win over Burnley.

The club's captain told Sky Sports News: "Jose [Mourinho] has made some very big signings this summer like Costa who was different class tonight the way he held the ball up, we're hoping to win the league this season. It will be very tough but it was important that we got three points."

Andre Schurrle and Branislav Ivanovic were also on the scoresheet for Chelsea after Scott Arfield had given the home side the lead.
