Mason Mount's chances of featuring for England this month have been put in doubt, according to a report.
The midfielder has missed Chelsea's last two games against Newcastle United and Malmo, but has returned to training in the build up to the Blues' match against Burnley on Saturday.
Thomas Tuchel revealed that Mount has been struggling with infected wisdom teeth, meaning he has "lost a bit of weight" and "cannot eat properly".
According to the Independent, the Chelsea boss added that the 22-year-old is taking medication, which the club's medical staff want to see how he reacts to before releasing him for international duty.
England have their final two World Cup qualifying matches this month against Albania and San Marino as they look to book a place in Qatar next year.
Mount made his Three Lions debut in September 2019 and has since earned 26 caps, featuring in five of England's seven games at Euro 2020 in the summer.
