Chelsea defender David Luiz urges his side to keep their feet on the ground following their 4-0 drubbing of Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea defender David Luiz has urged his side to keep their feet on the ground following their 4-0 thrashing of Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante ensured a miserable return to the Bridge for United manager Jose Mourinho, ending a six-match unbeaten streak for the Red Devils.

However, despite such a convincing win over an expected top-four rival, Luiz played down the victory, insisting that it is merely another three points on the board.

"Every match is three points. It doesn't matter the opponent. It's good to win in this way. It's good to also keep the feet on the floor, with humility," he told Chelsea TV.

"The important thing now is to rest a bit and then start to think about West Ham. Everybody is happy. It's normal. We worked a lot for that victory during the week.

"We had an amazing game from the beginning. That's why after the game we can be happy. It's good for us to keep in this way and enjoy when you score a lot of goals. Also we enjoy when we don't concede."

Chelsea now sit fourth in the Premier League table, just one point behind Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
