Jose Mourinho: "I belong to Chelsea"

Jose Mourinho says that he has no plans to leave his role as Chelsea manager any time soon.

Jose Mourinho has insisted that he would like to remain the manager of Chelsea for a long time.

Prior to his return to Stamford Bridge during the summer, the 50-year-old had taken charge of five clubs and, despite winning a number of trophies, he never remained with any of those teams for longer than three years.

However, this time around, Mourinho has claimed that Chelsea would have to sack him if he is to depart the West Londoners for a second time.

"I'm not here thinking about my next move because I don't want to have a next move. I will have a next move if and when Chelsea decides it's time for that," he told the London Evening Standard.

"I'm not chasing new experiences, trying to find where I like it more, where I can make new things for my career — no. It's a completely different perspective.

"I'm here to stay. I belong to Chelsea, Chelsea belong to me. I gave a lot to Chelsea in the past but they also gave a lot to me. This is a different professional relationship."

Mourinho has won 20 major honours as a manager.
