Guus Hiddink has left his job as manager of Turkey by mutual consent after failing to claim a spot in the Euro 2012 finals.
The 65-year-old has had his contract terminated with the national side after losing to Croatia in the European playoffs last night.
The departure has alerted speculation that the Dutchman may return to Chelsea in a sporting director position at the club.
Hiddink became the caretaker manager for the Blues in 2009 for one season.
