Report: Antonio Conte "disgusted" by nature of Chelsea sacking

Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly feeling "disgusted" by the nature of his sacking by the Premier League club.

Antonio Conte has been left "disgusted" over his sacking by Chelsea, according to a report.

On Friday, the Blues announced that the Italian had been removed from his position, going on to install former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri as their new manager the following day.

Conte resumed pre-season training with the squad on Monday and led a session on Thursday morning before being allegedly informed of his dismissal in the afternoon.

Neither Chelsea nor Conte's representatives have commented on the nature of his sacking but, according to The Telegraph, the former Italy boss is thought to be "disgusted" by the way that it has been handled.

The report, quoting Italian sources, claims that Conte believes he should have been dealt with with a greater degree of respect, given that he won the Premier League title and the FA Cup in his two seasons in charge.

Chelsea are also allegedly arguing that Conte breached the terms of his contract and will dispute the £9m which they are currently due to pay the coach in compensation.
