Chelsea reportedly fail in a second attempt to lure Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola to the club.

Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly turned down a second offer from Chelsea to become their new manager at the end of the season.

The 41-year-old will depart the Spanish outfit in the summer, and he has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League.

Guardiola has been offered a £12m-a-year contract as well as vast transfer funds to invest in the squad, according to The Mirror.

However, he will reportedly keep his word and take a year away from football before reviewing his future.
