Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has given his backing to Antonio Conte after the Italian was appointed as the club's new manager.
Conte will take charge at Stamford Bridge in the summer on a three-year contract following the conclusion of the European Championships, where he will end a two-year spell as Italy head coach.
Begovic, who became second-choice keeper behind Thibaut Courtois when he joined Chelsea from Stoke City last summer, has given his reaction to Conte's impending arrival.
"It's been a very eventful 12 months to say the least," Begovic told talkSPORT. "It's a big announcement for the club to bring in a manager of this calibre and I'm looking forward to working with him."
Conte won three back-to-back Serie A titles between 2011 and 2014 while manager of Juventus.
