Adrian hits out at Diego Costa tackle

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian hits out at Chelsea striker Diego Costa following his tackle in the season-opening match between the two sides.

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian has hit out at Diego Costa following the Chelsea striker's tackle during Monday night's meeting between the two sides.

Costa was already on a yellow card when he caught Adrian high and late when trying to block a clearance, but referee Anthony Taylor allowed the foul to go without further punishment.

The Brazilian-born Spain international went on to score the winning goal in the final minute of normal time, but Adrian believes that he was fortunate to escape serious injury.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic also suggested that Costa could have seen red for the challenge.
