Striker Michy Batshuayi returns to Chelsea after sustaining a foot injury while on international duty with Belgium.

Chelsea have received a blow ahead of a return to action after the international break, as Michy Batshuayi has suffered a foot injury while with Belgium.

Batshuayi had been selected in the squad to face Mexico and Japan, and the 24-year-old would have hoped for more game time after making just five starts for the Blues this season.

However, the forward has been forced to return to West London after picking up an injury during the early part of training for his nation's upcoming fixtures.

Batshuayi has already undergone an X-ray, but the former Marseille man will have further checks in the coming days.

From November 18 through to the end of the month, Chelsea face matches with West Bromwich Albion, Qarabag FK, Liverpool and Swansea City respectively.
