Roberto Di Matteo says that Chelsea are out to win the FA Cup this season.

Assistant coach Roberto Di Matteo has insisted that Chelsea are taking the FA Cup seriously following their 4-0 win over Portsmouth yesterday.

Ramires scored twice and Juan Mata and Frank Lampard got one each as Chelsea fielded a full-strength side against their Championship opposition.

"This is a competition we would like to win and we have taken another step nearer the target," Di Matteo said.

"We were never not going to play a strong team so the line-up shouldn't have come as a surprise."

Chelsea will face either MK Dons or Queens Park Rangers in the next round of the FA Cup.
