Bradford City co-chairman Mark Lawn was in a state of euphoria when he reflected on an FA Cup giant-killing of Chelsea which he compared to beating Barcelona.
The League One Bantams came from two goals down to shock the Premier League champions with a 4-2 fourth-round victory at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Lawn has also revealed the huge financial benefits of the result and credited manager Phil Parkinson, who guided them to promotion last season and the Capital One Cup final the year before, for masterminding another famous triumph.
"We've just beaten Barcelona. We've just beaten a team that is as good as Barcelona," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"Wait until you see the fourth goal, you'll think we were Chelsea! It just goes to show Match of the Day should have us on telly all the time, because we score you goals. This game meant we broke even. We had a million pound overspend this season. Let's have Manchester United in the next round now.
"Phil Parkinson inherited the worst squad we have ever had when he started here. I've been watching the team since 1964. When he came in we told him this is the worst team we've seen up here. His first job was to keep us in the league but we have had steady progress since then."
Gary Cahill and Ramires had put the Blues 2-0 ahead before Jon Stead pulled one back for the visitors, and further goals from Filipe Morais, Andy Halliday and Mark Yeates ended Chelsea's hopes of the quadruple.
