Team News: Filipe Luis, Andre Schurrle start for Chelsea

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho hands starts to Filipe Luis and Andre Schurrle for his side's Champions League fixture against Sporting Lisbon.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has made two changes to his starting lineup for his side's trip to Sporting Lisbon.

Filipe Luis will start in place of Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back, while Andre Schurrle has been preferred to Willian on the flank.

As expected, striker Diego Costa has retained his place in attack, despite concerns over a lingering hamstring problem.

On-loan Manchester United winger Nani is included in Sporting Lisbon's starting XI as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the campaign.

Midfielder William Carvalho, who was linked with a number of Premier League clubs during the summer, also starts and will be keen to impress potential admirers ahead of the January transfer window.

Chelsea: Courtois, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Filipe Luis, Fabregas, Matic, Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard, Diego Costa
Subs: Cech, Zouma, Mikel, Salah, Remy, Willian, Azpilicueta

Sporting Lisbon: Patricio, Cedric, Mauricio, Sarr, Silva, William, Mario, Adrien, Nani, Carrillo, Slimani
Subs: Nascimento, Soares Martins, Montero, Capel, Boeck, Rosell Argerich, Rodrigues de Oliveira
