Didier Drogba replaces Diego Costa in the Chelsea starting XI for tonight's Champions League encounter against Schalke 04.

Didier Drogba has replaced Diego Costa in the Chelsea starting lineup for tonight's Champions League encounter against Schalke 04 at Stamford Bridge.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho has made a further three changes to his side following Saturday's 4-2 win over Swansea City in the Premier League.

Filipe Luis, Ramires and Willian all come into the team, while Cesar Azpilicueta, Oscar and Andre Schurrle are the players to make way.

Meanwhile, Thibaut Courtois retains his place in goal at the expense of Petr Cech, who is joined on the bench by Costa, Loic Remy and John Obi Mikel
