Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for Saturday's Champions League final with Chelsea.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola once again has everyone fit and raring to go for Saturday's Champions League final with Chelsea.

The Premier League champions reinstated Ederson to the starting lineup against Everton after Scott Carson enjoyed a rare outing at Newcastle United, and the Brazilian will act as the last line of defence in Porto.

Kyle Walker is all but guaranteed to start on the right-hand side of defence, and a revitalised Oleksandr Zinchenko could keep Joao Cancelo out of the team, while Ruben Dias and John Stones will continue their ever-impressive partnership in the heart of the rearguard.

Rodri would be the natural fit for the number six role in a game of this magnitude, but the veteran Fernandinho put in an accomplished display in the semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain and could be rewarded with a place in the first XI.

Ilkay Gundogan is expected to be OK despite an injury scare and should take his spot in midfield alongside Bernardo Silva, who is unbeaten in the last 26 Champions League games that he has featured in.

Guardiola has warned Sergio Aguero that there can be no room for sentiment on what would be his final appearance in City colours, so there may be no place for the Argentine in a familiar front three.

Aguero on the bench would allow Kevin De Bruyne to continue in a false nine role, with semi-final hero Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden - set to become the third-youngest Englishman to start a Champions League final - providing support on the flanks.

Man City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Stones, Zinchenko; Fernandinho, Gundogan, Silva; Mahrez, De Bruyne, Foden
