John Obi Mikel warns Chelsea not to get "carried away" with Didier Drogba return

John Obi Mikel says that Chelsea should not get "carried away" with the return of Galatasaray's Didier Drogba in the Champions League.

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has warned his teammates not to get "carried away" with the return of striker Didier Drogba.

The Ivory Coast international will be reunited with his former boss Jose Mourinho when he takes on the Blues in Galatasaray colours in the last-16 tie in the Champions League.

"We shouldn't get carried away about him coming back," Mikel told the club's official website. "He is a player that was here for eight years, he won major trophies, he's a big player with a big personality.

"Obviously he had to move on but Chelsea continue, we have to win games, he's coming here with his new club, Galatasaray, who we want to beat, so we shouldn't get carried away about him coming back, we want to win the game."

Drogba called time on his Chelsea career last year.
