Pep Guardiola: Chelsea's physicality won't worry us

Pep Guardiola insists that his Barcelona team can combat any possible physical tactics employed by Chelsea during the Champions League semi-final.

Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola has claimed that he is not worried by a possible physical approach from Chelsea when the two sides meet in the Champions League semi-final.

Guardiola takes his side to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday with reports suggesting that Chelsea may adopt some physical tactics to gain an advantage over the reigning European champions.

However, Guardiola believes that his side will have the mentality to overcome any obstacle put in their way by Roberto Di Matteo's team.

The Spaniard told The Mirror: "Am I worried by Chelsea's physical approach? No, I'm not worried.

"We have the mentality to control this situation. It's very important to have this mentality.

"We have to adapt to all sorts of situations. That's what we've been learning to do in the four years I've been here."

Guardiola has won the competition twice since being in charge of the Catalan club.
