Pep Guardiola: 'Chelsea have many qualities'

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola acknowledges that Chelsea will be a threat to their Champions League crown ahead of the semi-final draw on Friday.

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola believes that Chelsea have "many qualities" as both clubs prepare for the Champions League semi-final draw on Friday.

The two teams could be paired with each other in the last four of the competition, and Guardiola has acknowledged that Bayern wouldn't face an easy tie if they were given the task of playing against their fourth English team in this year's tournament.

The 43-year-old is quoted by The Independent as saying: "Chelsea have a manager with a lot of experience.

"They are an English side with many qualities and experienced players like Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry and Frank Lampard."

Bayern finished ahead of Manchester City during the group stage, while the knockout round has seen them overcome both Arsenal and Manchester United respectively.
