Sports Mole previews the Championship showdown between Charlton Athletic and Burnley.

Charlton Athletic host Burnley in the Championship this weekend with just one point separating the mid-table clubs ahead of kickoff.

Chris Powell's side have been inconsistent all season, and go into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, with just one win in six.

Burnley are in even worse form, with no wins and four losses in six - a run that has left their positive start to the season in tatters.

Midfield duo Dean Marney and Chris McCann are doubtful for them after picking up knocks during Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town, which could pave the way for Marvin Bartley and Brian Stock to start.

Charlton are without the suspended Yann Kermorgant, who could be replaced by youngster Jon Obika upfront.

Recent form

Charlton: LLDLWL

Burnley: LDLDLL

Possible lineups

Charlton: Hamer, Solly, Wiggins, Morrison, Cort, Dervite, Pritchard, Stephens, Jackson, Wagstaff, Obika

Burnley: Grant, Lafferty, Shackell, Long, Trippier, Stock, Stock, Bartley, Treacy, Ings, Austin

Sports Mole says: 1-1
