Celtic confirm the signing of Stefan Scepovic

Stefan Scepovic signs for Celtic on a four-year deal despite a deal initially looking dead and buried.

Celtic have signed Serbia international striker Stefan Scepovic from Sporting Gijon.

A deal looked to have collapsed just a couple of hours ago, despite a fee understood to have been agreed.

Talks initially broke down after Scepovic performed a U-turn having undergone a medical, but the Scottish champions have tonight confirmed the capture on a four-year deal.

The 24-year-old becomes Ronny Deila's sixth recruit of the summer.
