Celtic confirm that Australian midfielder Tom Rogic will join the club on a four-and-a-half-year deal subject to a work permit.

Celtic have announced that they have secured the signing of Tom Rogic subject to a work permit.

The Scottish Premier League champions have recruited the 20-year-old midfielder on a four-and-a-half-year contract but will need the relevant paperwork to finalise the deal.

A statement on the club's official website said: "The club can confirm an application will be made to the appropriate authorities in the next couple of days."

The former Central Coast Mariners player was previously linked with a switch to Premier League side Reading.
