Team News: Leigh Griffiths starts for Celtic against Aberdeen

Celtic make three changes to their starting lineup for their match against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership at Celtic Park.

Leigh Griffiths has been named in Celtic's starting lineup for their Scottish Premiership match against Aberdeen this afternoon.

The striker is one of three changes to the side that were knocked out of the Europe League by Inter Milan earlier this week, with Efe Ambrose and Kris Commons also coming in.

Meanwhile, Aberdeen have made just one change for the trip to Celtic Park following their convincing 3-0 win over St Mirren in their last outing.

Jonny Hayes has recovered from a hamstring injury, so comes in for Peter Pawlett, who starts on the bench for the visitors.

Celtic: Gordon, Matthews, Denayer, Van Dijk, Ambrose, Brown, Bitton, Commons, Johansen, Mackay-Steven, Griffiths
Subs: Zaluska, Guidetti, Stokes, Armstrong, Wakaso, Forrest, Henderson

Aberdeen: Brown, Logan, Considine, Reynolds, McLean, Flood, Rooney, McGinn, Hayes, Jack, Daniels
Subs: Langfield, Taylor, Smith, Robson, Pawlett, Goodwillie, Shaughnessy
