Celtic manager Neil Lennon says that he will have no problem lifting his players for Sunday's Old Firm clash after Thursday's Europa League loss.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has claimed that this Sunday's Old Firm derby could not have come at a better time for his side.

The Bhoys were defeated 2-0 away against Atletico Madrid on Thursday in the Europa League, but Lennon says that he will have no problem motivating his players for their match at Ibrox.

"Going from the European game into the Old Firm game is probably the best thing that can happen," said Lennon.

"Sometimes you can come back from a European game and there is a flatness going about your SPL duties but with a game of this magnitude, it can be easy to motivate the players."

Celtic go into the match one point behind their Glasgow rivals, who lead the SPL.
