Villarreal draw at Celta Vigo to extend unbeaten run

Villarreal are left frustrated by a superb Yoel performance in the Celta Vigo goal and are forced to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Villarreal's unbeaten run in La Liga now stretches to five games after Marcelino Garcia Toral's side drew 0-0 at Celta Vigo.

Jonathan Pereira came closest to breaking the deadlock in the opening period when he fired a shot towards the near post, but Yoel palmed his effort away.

Pereira had another chance to open the scoring a few minutes later, but the forward put his effort over the bar.

The visitors continued to push for an opener after the break, and although Giovanni dos Santos had the ball in the net twice in quick succession, the linesman's flag was raised on both occasions.

Javier Aquino scuffed his effort when well placed, which allowed Yoel to palm away the weak shot, while Hernan Perez and Jeremy Perbet were both denied by the Spanish goalkeeper as the game drew to a close.
