Cardiff City have stepped up their interest in Rangers midfielder Josh Windass, according to a report.
Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock has been busy in the summer transfer window, bringing in winger Josh Murphy from Norwich City and full-back Greg Cunningham from Preston North End.
Windass, meanwhile, enjoyed a fruitful campaign with the Gers last time out, scoring 18 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions.
According to the Scottish Sun, Warnock - whose side will be in the Premier League next season - is set to make Rangers a £1.5m offer in a bid to secure the services of Windass.
The 24-year-old, who previously played for Accrington Stanley, signed a one-year contract extension with the Scottish giants earlier this year which will expire in 2021.
