Cardiff City are understood to be interested in a summer move for Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones.

The Championship winners are looking to boost their ranks over the next few months as they prepare for their first season in the top flight.

The Bluebirds could now land the 28-year-old Trinidad and Tobago international for around £7m, according to The Mirror.

Jones has scored five goals in 29 appearances for Stoke so far this season.
