Team News: No Craig Bellamy for Cardiff City

Craig Bellamy and Tommy Smith miss out with injury for Cardiff as Malky Mackay is forced into attacking changes for the visit of Burnley.

Cardiff City are without attacking duo Craig Bellamy and Tommy Smith for the visit of Burnley to Wales this afternoon.

Both players picked up knocks in Cardiff's midweek win over Watford and face a spell of several weeks on the sidelines.

Kim Bo-Kyung and Joe Mason are recalled to fill the void ahead of new loan signing Karim Frei, who is named on the bench alongside Aron Gunnarsson despite the Icelandic international netting a 90th-minute winner against the Hornets.

Burnley have won both of their matches since Terry Pashley took temporary charge at Turfmoor following Eddie Howe's departure.

The former Clarets player makes just one change to the XI that won late on at Bristol City in midweek, with Joseph Mills replacing Ben Mee at right-back.

Cardiff: Marshall, Taylor, Hudson, Turner, Connelly; Kim, Whittingham, Cowie, Noone; Helguson, Mason

Burnley: Grant; Mills, Shackell, Duff, Trippier; Stanislas, Stock, Marney, McCann; Paterson, Austin
