Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan has reportedly made a controversial move of suspending manager Malky Mackay's right-hand man Iain Moody.
Moody, who is the club's head of recruitment, has previously been praised by the Scottish boss, who insisted that his influence helped clinch the summer deals of Steven Caulker, Gary Medel, Kevin Theophile-Catherine and Andreas Cornelius.
However, Tan has replaced Moody with 23-year-old Kazakhstani Alisher Apsalyamov, who is said to be a friend of the owner's son and has no experience working within football, according to the Daily Mail.
Moody worked with Mackay at Watford and also spent two years with the Scotsman in Wales.
