Craig Bellamy is likely to be rested for Cardiff City's trip to Millwall tomorrow night.

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay has hinted that he will rest Craig Bellamy for Tuesday's encounter against Millwall.

The Welsh international has been troubled with a calf injury since he joined the Bluebirds during the summer.

Despite seeing the striker score during Saturday's 2-1 win over Leeds United, Mackay has conceded that he is considering not selecting Bellamy for the trip to London.

"His body needs to be managed in terms of the games we play him and the games he doesn't play and the type of training he does," Mackay told reporters.

Bellamy is currently in the middle of his second spell at the Cardiff City Stadium.
