Guingamp moved closer to confirming their Ligue 1 status for next season as goals from Claudio Beauvue and Sylvain Marveaux saw them win 2-0 at Caen.
The hosts missed a golden opportunity to take the lead nine minutes before the break when a corner from Thomas Lemar broke into the path of Damien Da Silva, but the defender somehow missed the target from point-blank range.

Moments later, another corner from Lemar was headed against the crossbar by Emiliano Sala as Caen struggled to make the most of their opportunities.
Instead, Guingamp took the lead soon after the restart when Beauvue's speculative shot from distance fizzed past Remi Vercoutre and into the top corner of the net.
The visitors doubled their lead midway through the second half when Christophe Mandanne played the ball into the path of Marveaux, and the ex-Newcastle United attacker duly slotted the ball beyond the Caen keeper.
Guingamp now move four points clear of the danger zone, while Caen are only a point above the relegation places.
