Luke O'Neill has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with Premier League side Burnley.
The 22-year-old defender was out of contract this summer, but has taken up the chance to extend his future with the newly-promoted Clarets.
Last season O'Neill played all of his football in League Two on loan with York City and Southend, and he says that he is ready to be loaned out again.
"I know that [playing for Burnley] will be hard now that we're in the Premier League but if not, then I will be looking to go out on loan again if that is something the gaffer wants me to do," he told the club website.
O'Neill, who joined Burnley from Mansfield Town two years ago, has made just two senior appearances for the Clarets.
