Half-Time Report: Bristol City edge ahead against MK Dons

Jonathan Kodjia's goal gives Bristol City a 1-0 half-time lead over MK Dons.

Jonathan Kodjia's fifth goal in six games has given Bristol City a precious half-time lead in the bottom-of-the-table clash with MK Dons.

Steve Cotterill's side got off to the perfect start when Bobby Reid won the ball in midfield and set off towards goal, before unselfishly squaring the ball to Kodjia to fire home.

Reid then fired an effort narrowly wide of goal himself, before Ben Reeves went close with a long-range strike at the other end.

Luke Freeman was the next Robins man to go close as he cut in from the left wing and curled an effort towards goal that David Martin was equal to.

After a mazy run, Kodija teed up Freeman 12 yards from goal just before the break, but the midfielder could only fire his effort over the bar.
