Leonardo Ulloa: 'I want to stay at Brighton & Hove Albion'

Forward Leonardo Ulloa says that he would like to remain at Brighton & Hove Albion next season, rather than return to parent club Leicester City.

Forward Leonardo Ulloa has revealed that he would like to turn his loan spell with Brighton & Hove Albion into a permanent move.

In January, Ulloa left Leicester City to return to Brighton for a second spell at the club, having previously spent 18 months with the Seagulls between January 2013 and July 2014.

Ulloa netted for Brighton during the 3-1 defeat at Manchester City on Wednesday night, and the Argentine has acknowledged that he is enjoying his time back at the south coast club.

The 31-year-old is quoted by the West Sussex County Times as saying: "I have one year more there. I don't know. I am waiting until the end of the season to speak with Leicester, to speak with Brighton and we'll see what happens.

"I would like to stay here, because I am comfortable here. I feel so good in the house. That is important, but I don't want to think too much about that. I want to finish the season and after we'll see what happens. My idea is to stay but that does not depend on me, it depends on different things."

Ulloa has scored twice in four starts and eight substitute appearances during his short spell at the Amex Stadium.
