Brighton & Hove Albion sign Jonathan Obika on loan

Brighton & Hove Albion sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Jonathan Obika on a three-month loan deal.

Brighton & Hove Albion have signed Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jonathan Obika on a three-month loan deal.

The 23-year-old striker will be available for the Seagulls' Championship clash at home to Birmingham City on Saturday.

"It is known that we tried to bring him earlier in the season, but were not able to due to an injury, so we are pleased to have him here now," Brighton coach Oscar Garcia told the club's official website.

Obika recently scored six goals for Tottenham's Under-21s in a friendly win against Charlton Athletic.
