Half-Time Report: Brighton & Hove Albion concede late to lead by one goal against Bolton Wanderers

Brighton & Hove Albion are closer to continuing their eight-game unbeaten run as Chris Hughton's side take a one-goal lead into half time against Bolton Wanderers.

League leaders Brighton & Hove Albion take a one-goal advantage into half time against Bolton Wanderers, with strikes from Dale Stephens and Jamie Murphy answered by a Neil Danns goal for Neil Lennon's side.

Bolton were the side who started the half quicker as Max Clayton's fifth-minute goal-bound strike was saved by David Stockdale.

Prince-Desir Gouano was on hand to deny Brighton a goal from their first opportunity of the match as he slid in to win the ball from Sam Baldock before the striker could get a shot away.

Lennon's outfit broke immediately as Liam Feeney's near-post strike was saved by the busy Stockdale.

The Trotters then won a 25th-minute free kick, which Neil Danns fired just wide of the Brighton goal.

It was Hughton's side who took the lead, however, as Bobby Zamora won possession from a corner before teeing up Stephens who rifled home from 20 yards after 31 minutes.

Murphy doubled the Seagulls' lead four minutes later as he converted Liam Rosenior's right-wing cross from close range.

Danns brought the Trotters back into the game just before the half-time whistle, driving a low shot past Stockdale from the edge of the box.
