Brentford sign 20-year-old Cardiff City centre-back Ben Nugent on loan for six months.

Cardiff City centre-back Ben Nugent has agreed a deal to join League One side Brentford on loan for the first half of the 2013-14 season.

Nugent is Uwe Rosler's 10th signing of the summer which, according to the Bees manager, completes the club's business for this transfer window.

"Ben fulfils our requirements," Rosler told Brentford's official website. "He is a physical player who has presence on the pitch.

"He relishes defending and is also not afraid to receive the ball and pass it.

"Our squad is now complete and the group now is what we will have to go in to the season."

Brentford's season starts with a trip to Port Vale on August 3.
