Brentford head coach Thomas Frank has admitted that it will be a "close call" whether Christian Norgaard will be ready for Saturday's Premier League clash with West Ham United.
Norgaard played every minute of Brentford's opening four league games, before he was forced to miss the recent defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Frank told reporters after the 3-1 away loss that his captain was forced to miss out due to a "minor injury" issue.
Brentford are now preparing for another clash against a fellow London side, with the Bees set to welcome West Ham to the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.

Frank provides Norgaard injury update
Frank has revealed that Norgaard has returned to training, but indicated that a late decision will be made on his availability for the weekend.
"It's going to be a close call," Frank told the media in his pre-match press conference. "He's been training today and yesterday, so we need to see if he's ready to start."
If Norgaard is deemed fit to start, he would likely come in to feature in central midfield alongside Mikkel Damsgaard and Vitaly Janelt.
However, if Norgaard is ruled out of Saturday's clash, Yegor Yarmolyuk will retain his spot after he played over an hour against Spurs.

What about Brentford's other absentees?
In addition to Norgaard, Frank was also asked how Paris Maghoma, Rico Henry and Igor Thiago are progressing in their respective injury recoveries.
"Paris will play a game next week," Frank said. "Rico is a little bit further - no setbacks but he is not ready yet.
"[Thiago] is progressing, but it's still too far away for me to be excited about him coming back. He is not on the grass."
The Bees are also without the services of Josh Dasilva, Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey, Mathias Jensen, Yoane Wissa and Gustavo Nunes.
Brentford are looking to claim a third consecutive home league victory, having already beaten Crystal Palace and Southampton at the Gtech Community Stadium this season.
