Neymar: 'Argentina will not win World Cup'

Barcelona attacker Neymar jokes that Argentina will not win the World Cup on Brazilian soil this summer.

Barcelona attacker Neymar has joked that Argentina will not win the World Cup on Brazilian soil this summer.

The 22-year-old revealed that talk of the tournament had arisen with Barca teammate Lionel Messi, who will represent Argentina in the competition that gets underway next month.

"We've already been joking about it," he told Globo.

"We've both been saying that we want to be in the final. When he said they were going to win, I told him that in Brazil, Argentina have got no chance!"

Neymar is currently on the sidelines with a foot injury, but will be fit for the World Cup.
