Vicente del Bosque: 'Brazil are favourites'

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque claims that Brazil are the favourites for the World Cup this summer.

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has said that Brazil are the favourites for the World Cup this summer.

Del Bosque will take his side into the tournament full of confidence having won the last two European Championships and World Cup in 2010.

However, the experienced manager has branded the home nation as the team to beat.

"Brazil is the favourite number one", Inside Spanish Football quotes Del Bosque as saying.

"They have a great team, they work as a team, but it will not be easy."

The prestigious tournament gets underway next month.
