Elliott Ward signs new Bournemouth deal

Bournemouth defender Elliott Ward signs a new two-and-a-half-year contract with the Championship outfit.

Bournemouth defender Elliott Ward has admitted that he has enjoyed his first six months at the Goldsands Stadium.

Ward left Norwich City to move to the Cherries during the summer, and the centre-back has revealed that he is happy to extend his stay at the club until 2016.

The 28-year-old told the club's official website: "I've really enjoyed myself over these first six months.

"It's been good for both me and the club. We have worked well together so far."

The former Coventry City man has made 18 appearances during the current campaign.
