Bournemouth move for Aston Villa's Joe Bennett?

Bournemouth are reportedly close to securing a loan deal for Aston Villa defender Joe Bennett.

Aston Villa defender Joe Bennett has reportedly been allowed to move to Bournemouth on a six-month loan deal.

Bennett has made 38 appearances since signing for Villa in 2012, but he spent last season on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion.

It now appears that the 25-year-old will spend more time away from his parent club, with the Daily Mail reporting that the former Middlesbrough man will move to the Cherries before the end of the transfer window.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is said to be keen on replacing Tyrone Mings, who could be sidelined for some time after suffering an injury against Leicester City last weekend.
