Bournemouth boss Paul Groves insists that Harry Redknapp will only have a positive impact at the club following his recent return.

Bournemouth manager Paul Groves has insisted that Harry Redknapp will only have a positive impact at the club following his return.

Redknapp joined the League One side in an advisory role last week having started his managerial career with them nearly 30 years ago.

"He is fantastic person, not only on a football side, but as a person as well and it can only be a positive for the football club," Groves told Sky Sports News.

"His knowledge, his experience everything about him is nothing but a plus for us."

The Cherries, who are currently 15th in the League One table, host Hartlepool on Saturday.
